The American University of the Caribbean (AUC), Les Cayes, Haïti, is seeking for a Language Laboratory Monitor.  He/She will have to set up and manage all lab equipments and ressources.

1. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. set up and manage all lab equipment and resources
2. download didactic programs and make them available to the lab patrons
3. ensure that all doors are locked upon closing
4. assist professors and students towards achieving desired goals
5. monitor and credit laboratory users via attendance sheet and users’ reports
6. ensure that the language lab is always in good condition
7. ensure that the use of food and drinks in the laboratory is prohibited
8. ensure that all patrons deposit their bags in designated position for better resource control
9. suggest equipment and materials needed to improve the Language Lab

• help plan and organize exams
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High level Study in languages
2. Excellent English and Computer skills;
3. Ability to work well within diverse teams and manage relationships;
4. Excellent writing, communication, training, facilitation, and presentation skills;
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain good relations with diverse sets of stakeholders;
6. Willingness to work full-time.
